CURRENT TEAMS
WORSHIP TEAM (Singers & Instrumentalists)
The Praise & Worship Ministry exists to unite the Church through praise and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. We aim to be a ministry that is servant-hearted, knowing that we exist to equip the church and every group to be worshippers.
Our weekly responsibilities include: arriving early on Sundays to set up and practice, leading the congregation in worship and breaking down the stage after service.
Everyone wanting to join the Worship team must go through a simple interview and audition process.

PROMISE KIDS & YOUTH (Littles, Kids, and Youth Biblestudy classes)
Promise Kids & Promise Youth is a safe and encouraging place where children worship the living God! Children gather together each Sunday to learn the truths of the Bible; and to grow in their understanding of Jesus’ love & grace. This happens mainly through Bible lessons, crafts, prayer, and praise.
We are always in need for volunteers to teach and assist children in their activities, as well as develop caring friendships with them.

WELCOME TEAM (Greeting, Ushering, & Screening)
The Welcome ministry exists to demonstrate the love of God by truly welcoming people to The Promise Church family.
Some of our responsibilities include: setting up the welcoming table, stuffing church bulletin with appropriate inserts, greeting people as they come in, distributing church bulletin, ushering newcomers to their seats, collecting the newcomer information cards, and following-up with visitors via email and phone.
If you have a heart to see people feel welcome, accepted, and have a fantastic smile and outgoing spirit, come be a part of this important ministry!

CROSS MEDIA TEAM (Audio/Video/Social Media)
The Cross Media ministry exists to help make our worship services and events run smoothly and glorifying to God.
This vital ministry is behind-the-scenes and mainly involves: helping set up the worship team, ensuring the sound is mixed well, running the song and sermon note slides software, developing graphics for the Promise website, and posting the audio sermon recording online.

HOSPITALITY (Sunday Refreshments)
The Hospitality Team is responsible for setting up food and beverages on the hospitality table on Sundays. This is an important team that creates an inviting and welcoming environment during Sunday Service.
The Hospitality Team is also responsible for breaking down & storing everything that was set up.
Twice a year or so, the hospitality team is responsible for providing lunch for special events/services.

INREACH (Planning Events for Church Community)
The Inreach Team helps plan events in the church to foster community among the members, and help newcomers get connected.
Some events the Inreach Team will help plan are Cross Promise Lunches, Career Talks & Lunch, Retreat Fellowship Activities, Childcare at events, etc.
