PROMISE KIDS & YOUTH

OVERVIEW

The Promise Kids & Promise Youth is a ministry where children worship the living God!  Children gather together each Sunday to learn the truths of the Bible, and to grow in their understanding of Jesus’ love & grace.  This happens mainly through Bible study, discussion, prayer, repentance, and praise in the midst of a community fostered by adults who love God and love our children.

  • All children participate with their parents in the main congregation’s time of praise and worship; children are then dismissed, led by their teachers, to their classes at the beginning of announcement time.

  • Parents must pick up their children in their classrooms after service is over.

FAMILY WORSHIP

The first Sunday of every month is Family Worship Sunday. It is an opportunity for you to be together as a family and worship together. All children are invited to worship with the larger congregation and be taught that they are part of the church.

 

PROMISE CHILDREN (birth to 6th grade)

Nursery (Under 2 yrs old) - Sanctuary and Cry Room

We are happy to provide a place within the Sanctuary or Cry Room where parents can join the worship service.

  • For parents with babies who are asleep or quiet, there is a designated place for you in the back of the Sanctuary. There are signs marking the area.

  • For parents with babies who want to play or are crying, there is a cry room next to the Sanctuary. You can still hear & view the service from the cry room.

Please note:

  • The Cry Room is for children 18 months and younger.

  • All children must be accompanied by at least one parent.

  • Please do your best to have your children be engaged in quiet play so adults can enjoy the service.

Toddlers (Ages 18 months to 4 years) - Toddlers Room next to the Sanctuary

  • Our teachers and volunteers will lead age-appropriate Bible studies and activites for your toddler.

  • Someone on our Welcome Team will be happy to show you where to take your toddler.

Elementary (TK to 6th grade) - Littles Classroom downstairs

  • Our teachers and volunteers will lead age-appropriate Bible studies and activites for your elementary-aged child.

  • Someone on our Welcome Team will be happy to show you where to take your elementary-aged child.

 

PROMISE YOUTH

Youth (grades 7th-12th) - Library Room downstairs

Youth Bible Class meets on most Sundays, 9:15-10:15am, before the adult worship service. After class, the youth kids will join the adult service.
