Guest Chef Outreach

Guest Chef Outreach

Guest Chef is an outreach to the Riverside Shelters in partnership with Path of Life Ministries. 

  • WHEN: Friday, January 30th , @ 5:30pm to prep & serve food.

  • WHERE: Riverside Community Shelter (2840 Hulen Pl. Riverside, CA - 92507)

Every volunteer who signs up is expected to prepare or buy a menu item, and bring it to the shelter (the menu will be sent out to the volunteers).

Once at the shelter, every volunteer will help plate the food, pour drinks, and serve it to the residents.  After dinner, the team will clean up, pray, and go home.

It is always more blessed to serve than to receive.

The Membership Class is one of the best ways to learn about who we are as a church. You will learn about our church's history, mission, values, beliefs, structure, and how you can be a vital part.

We encourage you to come out even if you're not ready to commit. Those who attend are not obligated to become members.

In the New Testament, people not only attended church, they belonged to it. We hope this class will help you find that kind of belonging.

We're excited to participate in Operation Christmas Child again this year! Be a part of blessing children around the world. 

If you plan to participate, follow these simple steps.  

  1. Get an empty shoebox with label at church.

  2. Fill it with the suggested items.
    (See “How to pack your shoebox” below)

  3. Drop-off your filled shoebox at church on a Sunday, or at a drop-off center near you. See below. (Shipping cost is $10/box. We ask people donating boxes to cover this cost)

DROP-OFF INFO:

  • Last day to drop-off boxes at church is Sunday (11/16).

  • If you want to drop them off yourself, go to a drop-off center near you between MONDAY (11/17) to MONDAY (11/24).

We are currently taking volunteers for the following Ministry Teams. Consider joining a team! 

  • Kids & Youth (volunteer for littles, kids, & youth classes)

  • Worship (singing & instrumentalists, audition required)

  • Prayer (join prayer team, attend prayer meetings, intercede)

  • Welcoming (greeting, ushering, newcomer follow-up)

  • Cross Media (a/v, multimedia, social media)

  • Hospitality (Sunday snacks & drinks)

  • Inreach (planning events for church community)

4th of July Hangout


We will be having a potluck and fellowship on the 4th of July at Ryan Bonaminio Park in Riverside at 6pm, with a fireworks show provided by the city at 9pm. Please sign up through the newsletter on what you'll be bringing. (If you do not get our newsletter sign up HERE) Drinks and ice cream will be provided. Please RSVP by June 29 so we can plan accordingly. Feel free to bring out your friends as well.

Philippines Missions 2025

We are excited to partner with Impact 3:16 this year to preach the Gospel and serve the under-resourced in the Philippines. We will be partnering with local doctors and pastors to provide medical services, serve the poor, and share the Gospel.


QUICK FACTS: 
When: June 29th to July 9th
Where: Regions around Manila & the Palawan Islands
Who: Impact 3:16 & The Promise Church
Objectives: Provide medical care for under-privileged children & their families; and host children's programs & share the Gospel at medical sites.
Theme verse: 1 John 3:16-18       


If you are not able to go physically, you can still be a part of this missions through your support. You can support our missions team in two ways.

1. Join us in PRAYING for the team.

  • Pray for the unity of the missions team.

  • Pray for God’s protection upon the missions team.

  • Pray for God’s provision for the missions team.

  • Pray for the Gospel to go forth in the Spirit’s power through Impact 3:16, the local doctors, pastors, and The Promise team.

2. You can also GIVE FINANCIALLY to the team by donating HERE.

  • Please write in the memo: “Philippines Missions 2025.”

  • If you are supporting a specific team member, write his or her name in the memo
