About Sam

Sam was raised in Riverside and has been part of the Promise Church community since 2018. Since early 2023, he has been serving as an elder, overseeing discipleship groups. He is deeply passionate about teaching the Bible and helping God’s people grow as disciples of Jesus, and he’s grateful to be part of that mission at the Promise.

Sam lives in Moreno Valley with his wife, Bethany, and their daughter, Charis. During the week, he works as an Academic Advisor for the School of Business at UC Riverside. Outside of work, he enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with his family.
