OUR MISSION
To bless each person, city, and nation with the knowledge of Christ by starting and cultivating disciple-making movements.
Our church exists to see God's global promise in Genesis 12:1-3 come to pass: "to bless each person, city, and nation with the knowledge of Christ."
We believe God's ordained method to accomplish this is: "starting and cultivating disciple-making movements." (Matthew 28:19-20)
OUR VISION
We envision a church...
- where God is exalted and encountered through passionate worship, prayer, and obedience to His word.
- where hurting, captive, and defeated people can grow into complete wholeness through communities of God's truth and love.
- where the gospel heals the divides of race and gender, and where this unity among diversity is reflected in both leaders and members.
- where there is a continuous cycle of people being saved, discipled, and trained to multiply disciples of Christ throughout Riverside.
- where children discover God's love and grace, and receive a biblical foundation for a lifetime of growth.
- where every member is empowered to discover and use their natural talents and spiritual gifts to serve others.
- where partnerships are formed with local organizations to serve the neighborhoods and the hurting of Riverside.
- where non-profit organizations are started to advance Gospel-centered compassion and justice for the hurting.
- where new churches are begun locally and nationally through the multiplying and gathering of disciples.
- where missionaries are trained and sent to other nations to multiply disciples in partnership with local churches and mission agencies.
- where significant life transformation is commonplace.
