Overview:
At The Promise, community group is the backbone of our ministry. Community group is the best environment for people to build relationships, share personal struggles, ask honest questions, and receive deep encouragement from the Word of God and each other. These intimate settings are powerful for healing and transforming lives. They are open to anyone and everyone. All you have to bring is a Bible, but if you don't have one we'll provide one for you.
What to expect:
At a typical community group, about 12 people meet in the comfort of a person's home to sing praise songs, share, pray, and study the Word of God. The environement is very casual and the Bible study format is discussion-based. The meeting usually lasts for two and a half hours, and people enjoy refreshements and hang out afterwards.
