Have you ever found yourself in an uncertain place on your journey of faith? Have you ever asked yourself, "what is God really like?" "Did Jesus' death really remove the guilt of my sin?" "What does a real Christian look like?" The recipients of "1 John" found themselves in a similar place of uncertainty because of the influence of false teachers. In this short but very relevant letter, the Apostle John calls them back to what they knew to be true. “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.”
